How to get free unlimited email addresses with your basic G Suite account
In the past I've written about how to migrate from Gmail to G Suite and shared 20% discount coupons for G Suite. Now I want to show a way to create free unlimited email addresses across multiple domains and only pay for a single G Suite user. So for $5/month you can set up unlimited email addresses.
G Suite coupon for 20% discount in the first year
I've been writing about G Suite for some time now and thought that I should share these discount coupons now too. By using these you'll get 20% off in your first year which means you'll only be paying $48 for your first year of using G Suite (if you have one user).
How to remove missing songs from iTunes for free without any Apps
I've moved my music collection between media servers recently and so my iTunes library got a little bit messed up. There were lots and lots of missing files. I started looking into ways of removing these and quickly found various apps that would do it for you, but those were not free. If you don't mind fiddling with iTunes a little you can find and delete all of the missing songs in your library without any apps and without paying a cent. Here's how.
Live in Australia and want free KFC? Check this out!
Normally I wouldn't write about a promotion like this but this was too good not to share. KFC is running a limited time promotion (ending 7th of August 2016) where you can score yourself a free 3 Piece Feed just by playing an online game. So far we managed to get two of these meals for free, so it really does work. Read on for more details.
Get a Free SSL certificate and speed up your web site at the same time with CloudFlare
I've been using CloudFlare on my various web sites for a number of years now and the reason for using this service has just become even more compelling. Recently Google introduced HTTPS as a rank for website indexing which means if you don't have a HTTPS web site, you will be down-ranked in search results. For HTTPS you of course need an SSL certificate.
Apple finally kills Free iTunes Radio but there is redemption with Pandora
It was a few weeks ago that Apple announced that it will stop streaming free radio stations on iTunes. That announcement apparently came through in an email, I never received that, oh well here we are anyway. Free radio stations on iTunes are officially dead, the only remaining free station is Apple's own Beats 1, which may as well not be there given it's poor and biased selection.
Apple replacing AC wall plug adapters due to electrocution concerns
Apple has recently announced its AC Wall Plug Adapter Exchange Program for certain affected power plugs. At first I wasn't too worried when I saw this but then I kept on seeing it pop up all over the place and decided to checked it out. Ironically both of my plugs were affected. The exchange process is very simple, though I thought Apple's web site was a little skimp on information.
Yahoo! Weather condition code to Weather Icons font mapping
My jPhotoFrame software is at a stable point now and looking good. This is the mapping that I created between the Yahoo! Weather condition codes returned for daily forecasts and the Weather Icons font.
Google adds 2Gb of free storage to those who updated their security settings
Back at the beginning of February I wrote about how to get 2Gb of extra storage for your Google account. In that article I also said that Google would be adding this storage at a later stage. It looks like they've come through on their promise.
Get a free 2Gb bump up to your Google Drive storage
If you use Google Drive you already get a fair amount of free storage, well now Google is offering to bump up your storage by an extra 2Gb for free. The catch? You just have to check your security settings and the free storage will be awarded to you by the 28th of February 2015. This offer seems to be valid only up to the 17th of February so if you want the free extra storage, don't wait, do the security check now!
Free Telstra WiFi appearing around the Brisbane CBD
I've noticed that the long announced free Telstra WiFi hotspots have appeared around the Brisbane CBD. Maybe I've missed these all the other times while I was in the city centre, but now I can see them on the public phone boxes around the city.
